We are pleased to announce that the initiative developed by our R&D unit, the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝟮𝟬𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, has been recognized at the 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, held during the 2025 Congress organized by SALUS Global Knowledge Exchange in Manchester.
The initiative consists of a participatory and co-design process carried out with the residents, political groups, and local businesses of Santa Brígida (Gran Canaria, Canary Islands) to lay the groundwork for the design of the future Plaza de la Villa — unlocking more than 25 years in which this commercial ruin has hindered the town’s cultural and social development.
This recognition demonstrates the transformative power of activating place-based collective intelligence.
